A couple of caveats – the software is for the US market, and Canon USA has this disclaimer on their site…
* This Software is for use in the U.S. and will not be supported outside that area.
I’m a little stuck here as I’m running Macs, and so I can’t check the software or determine if it is restricted to US models for cameras. I’d like to know if we can use EOS 200D instead of the EOS SL2 for example?
Please note some EOS cameras already have a clean HDMI output that you can use as a webcam, but these also need a suitable HDMI capture solution. I’ve successfully used my Blackmagic Intensity Extreme for this with my EOS R.
