Over the course of 2016 I’ve taken plenty of photos that have been fun, challenging or fortunate. For each of the 12 days (of Christmas) I’m sharing one of my favourite pictures from 2016.

#3 – Georgia

I worked with Georgia at the SWPP Convention in January, we spent three days shooting on the trade show floor in a space that was just 1.6 meters wide X 2.1 meters deep. I had opted for Speedlites as my lighting source to keep the footprint on the floor to the minimum. The background was a Lastolite background hung from a magnetic background support. Looking at the catchlight in Georgia’s eye – this is a 50MP EOS 5DS R image – I appear to have I used a Lastolite Hotrod strip box for this shot.

Working with Georgia was fantastic, we had fun for three days making photos in a small space with Speedlites (and we were getting paid for it). I was happy to book her again for a shoot with Lastolite in February and a workshop in London later in the year too.
