Most trusted brand in Europe for thirteen years
Canon has continued the run of most trusted camera brand in Europe, now a total of thirteen consecutive years it has a maintained this. The European Trusted Brands 2013 survey was conducted in 12 countries and 11 different languages across a range of consumer goods categories, including cameras. Once again the number one brand of camera in Europe overall was Canon. With Sony and Nikon picking up the top spot in Romania and Poland respectively.

Canon celebrates 13 years as Europe’s ‘most trusted’ camera brand
LONDON, July 15, 2013 – Canon, world-leader in imaging solutions, has retained its position as Europe’s most trusted camera brand according to the 13th annual survey conducted by Reader’s Digest. The survey asked consumers in 12 European countries about brands they trust and found that Canon was the ‘most trusted’ camera brand in 10 of the 12 participating countries.

The Reader’s Digest survey is one of Europe’s widest reaching customer studies and questioned over 18,000 people across 12 countries. Respondents rated brands according to quality, value, image and the extent to which they understand customer needs. The questions also measured consumer confidence in companies’ advertising claims and brands’ attitudes towards the environment.
The 10 countries that selected Canon as the ‘most trusted’ camera brand were Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia, and Switzerland.
