Canon has picked up three EISA awards to go with it’s four TIPA awards from earlier in the year. The Canon EOS 600D adds the EISA award to it’s TIPA, making it one of the few cameras to win both top awards in the same year.

The Canon EISA award winners are:
- EOS 600D – European Camera 2011-2012
- EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM – European Professional Lens 2011-2012
- Legria HF M41 – European Camcorder 2011-2012
It’s interesting to see the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM picking up an award, it’s a lens that I have previously passed over for a number of reasons. However a recent chance to discuss with some owners of the lens has indicated that it indeed is one I should take more of a look at in the near future.
