I have some great news, i’m joining forces with fellow Canon EOS and photo trainer Dave Newton on EOS Network. Together we offer an unrivalled knowledge of all things EOS and pretty much anything Canon and photography too. This is a great opportunity for both of us to work together on several projects under the EOS Network banner, and keep some individual projects activities too. You can find a little more of the background to my photography in an article about me on EOS Network.
Here’s the press release from EOS Network:
EOS Network adds skilled EOS trainer Brian Worley
EOS Network is growing! Brian Worley is joining EOS Network as we gear up for significant expansion of our activities in 2011. The stated aim of EOS Network is to be the best source of EOS training and we are delighted to be able to announce that Brian has joined the endeavour.
About Brian Worley
Brian brings a wealth of experience to the setup, having worked at Canon Europe headquarter’s in various roles for nearly 15 years. He has been a product manager for almost everything that features a lens and most recently was the head of Canon’s own internal photo education program. It is often said that you cannot know everything, but there is very little Brian does not know about the EOS system.
An accomplished photographer in his own right, Brian brings his extensive knowledge tempered with real world experience to make sure that he can explain not just how something works in theory, but how to make it work in a live environment. Although he turns his lens to most subjects, he spends the majority of his time shooting portraits, making extensive use of the EOS Speedlite flash system.
Extended training and learning
Throughout 2011, we will be announcing a variety of training dates at locations around the country and covering a variety of topics. While there will be tips on ‘how to shoot better pictures’ our courses will focus on making sure you get the most out of your EOS equipment. We are planning shoot experience days, that will give you the chance to shoot in places you otherwise wouldn’t go. These shoot experiences will be under the the watchful eyes of people that can ensure you get the best images from the day. Keep an eye on the site for announcements of training dates and locations.
You will also see us launch the first of our eBooks. Over the year we will be self-publishing tutorial eBooks that you can buy. These will explain specific areas of the Canon system, or offer tips on how to improve your photography. If there is something you would like explained in detail, please do let us know so we can add it to the list of subjects.
For those looking for 1-2-1 training, both Brian and Dave are individually available for 1-2-1 sessions, at all levels from beginner to pro, tailored to suit your specific needs.
