Earlier this week I had a chance to meet up with new model Steph and do a quick test shoot. We avoided the worst of the rain by shooting under the trees in the woods.
All pictures have a mix of ambient and Speedlite flash. For the shots in the woods the flash was bounced in to a parabolic silver umbrella. The last two images were shot in the garden of a friend and here I used a California sunbounce reflector and bounced the flash in to it. I needed to add a CTO gel to add a bit of warmth and the shoot stopped as the rain changed from the odd drop to a downpour.

I love to shoot in woods and rural settings, whenever I havent enough light and try and use my flash + softbox I just dont like the effect or results, these are nicely done. Im clearly not doing it right, so chase the good light and reflect what is there…thanks for sharing these
